Nokia 2600 Classic Dark Blue - Review:
The second of two new budget entry phones from Nokia is the Nokia 2600 Classic.
Like the Nokia 1209, the Nokia 2600 Classic offers a cost monitoring system with the Pre-Paid Tracker which allows you to view and monitor pre-paid balances and call times.
The Nokia 2600 Classic also offers some key features that you don't get with the Nokia 1209.
For instance there's a built-in digital VGA Camera onboard with video recording capabilities and an FM Radio for tuning into your favourite station or picking up the latest news and sports headlines.
Although available in a wide range of colours, the Nokia 2600 Classic and its interchangeable covers means that you can change your phone's colour to suit your mood as often as you like.
Taking its name from the original Nokia 2600 handset, the Nokia 2600 Classic has been seriously revamped for today's requirements.
And apart from the interchangeable covers, the Nokia 2600 Classic can also be personalised with MP3 ringtones or custom made ringtones.
Offering an extensive range of messaging solutions that include SMS, MMS, Email and Nokia Xpress Audio messaging, the Nokia 2600 Classic is pretty well equipped and the web browser allows for online browsing.
Although only a budget level entry phone, its surprising but the Nokia 2600 Classic does offer Bluetooth Wireless connectivity for sharing photo's and images in addition to EDGE technology.
The phonebook will hold details of up to 1000 entries and the standby time is an extremely impressive 24 days worth.
